Otilia G. DeLeon, 84, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully and rejoined her husband of 62 years, Francisco DeLeon, Friday, January 13, 2017.

Otilia was born June 14, 1932 in Presido, Texas to Esteban & Angelita Gevara and had been a resident of Monterey County for over 70 years.

She was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Greenfield, participating in catechism and the Guadalupana Society. She enjoyed listening to music, gardening, and especially spending time with family and friends.

Otilia is survived by her 7 children; Rosa Macaraeg of Salinas, Jesse DeLeon of Greenfield, Irene Cantu of Gonzales, Gloria Garcia of Greenfield, Richard DeLeon of Yuma AZ, Mary Lou Montoya of Gonzales, Frances DeLeon of Greenfield; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Celia, Charles, Jennie, Steve, Adeliada. She was preceded in death by her parents, Esteban & Angelita Gevara; sons, Francisco DeLeon Jr, David DeLeon; grandson, Joe Garcia Jr; sisters, Elvira DeLeon, Eloise Gevara; son-in-law, Isador Macaraeg.
